Cyprus – Mark Ford Visiting Nicosia, the Capital of Cyprus, 9th June 2018 – Re-Posted February 2021

One thing I have come to realise is that when you break free from the shackles of a traditional job working for a boss and run a home business you get freedom to choose what you do with your days.

One of the choices I have made is to live a two centre life between the UK and Cyprus working online from my laptop as I go. However, in recent times we are all subject to the Covid restrictions and multiple lockdowns and as I re-share this I write to you from my second home in Cyprus which is in lockdown. We are allowed to go out twice a day and to do so we have to send a text message to the authorities and give our reasons for going out. I can’t receive visitors and the way it has worked out I am in self isolation and doing ‘lockdown time’ alone.

In these times it is always good to reflect on what we are grateful for and the fact that I get to live another day here and not be in the cold in the UK winter, enjoy the sunshine, use the internet to contact friends and family back home especially my son, connect with friends I have here in Cyprus and be free to do what I love to do blog daily, are all things I am grateful for.

Isn’t it better to ask yourself what you have and not what you have not got. I know many people are suffering more than I am and I send out my loving thoughts to these people for better times.

It is also good when we cannot travel and go out as much to reflect on the good times we have had in the past and today I reminded myself of the day I had with my friends and business associates Greg and Fiona Scott.

Allow me to share with you this Nicosia, Cyprus video and to ask you a question… what are you grateful for?

Please get in touch if you would like to learn what has made it possible for me to be free to travel more.

I wish you every success with your days.
